*Review* Almay Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover Pads

I was interested in this product because first of all it looks like it's travel friendly. When any women is packing to go on vocation, and especially packing their makeup they want to make sure they don't forget the essentials. So normally I pack my makeup eye remover oil and my cotton balls but seeing this seems to make life much more easier. The Almay Oil Free Makeup Remover Pads is in a small container (the travel size container) it comes with 15 pre-moist pads. I purchased my pads at Walmart and they retail for $1.10. 

   Here's the pros and cons of this product. The pros are that it's easy to travel with and the packaging of this product is sturdy. It's fragrance-free and oil free. The cons for this product is that the pads are very thin and if you wear waterproof mascara, one pad will not be enough so you can go through a whole travel size container of 15 pads in a short period of time. The pads do stay moist and does not dry out so I can say that I would buy this product again but I bet there's something better out there tho.

   So I would recommend these eye makeup remover pads if you don't wear heavy eye makeup or waterproof mascara. I've been personally using them after I wash my makeup off and if I still have raccoon looking eyes (due to eyeliner and mascara)  I'll just take a pad and just whip my eye lids and the problem is solve. Or these pads can be nice to have on hand incase you made a mistake while doing your eye makeup and you just need to whip a mistake away this too is a perfect product for that. So I hope this was a helpful review.

Challenge #1 Johanna vs Maybelline liquid eyeliners

This review is about Johanna FabUliner liquid eyeliner (0.0054 FL oz/1.54g) and the Maybelline Masterprecise by Eyestudio liquid eyeliner (0.037 FL. oz/ 1.1 ml) I personally love the Maybelline liquid eyeliner. So I'm doing a challenge to see if there's another liquid eyeliner that's better the the Maybelline liquid eyeliner. 

  The Maybelline liquid eye liner is $8.99 drugstore price. I love it because its a felt tip pen. This is the second time repurchasing  this particular product. I have it in the color Black, and it's very black and pigmented. It applies easily and last a long time on my eye lids.

  The results of the first challenge won by land slide. The Maybelline liquid eyeliner is the winner. The Johanna was horrible to be honest. I was expecting a lot from this product because I heard a lot of people raving how this was a great eyeliner and the coast of it was amazing only $1.99. But that was the only pro for this product, which was the pricing of the product. The cons was it hurt my eyelids when I tried to apply this eyeliner to my eyelids. The color payoff was affule, because there was no color payoff and applies on like a dry marker. I had to keep reapplying to get some color payoff, whereas the Maybelline liquid eyeliner is pigmented and only have to apply once on the eyelids. 

  So Maybelline is the winner of this first challenge. Please stay tune to see the next liquid eyeliner that will be going against the Maybelline Masterprecise by Eyestudio liquid eyeliner.

Milani Powder Foundation

So I decided to pick up the Milani Powder Foundation. I was excited to try this product because I wanted to try a drugstore powder foundation and compare it to high-end powder foundations I've tried. And too a powder foundation is a two in one product so if made properly it is a good product you can use on its on.

So what is a powder foundation? Well it's basically a press powder with a medium to more fuller coverage (like a foundation). So that's why a lot of individuals use powder foundation because its a two in one, has coverage, it's easy to apply, and not time consuming.

   Now for the review! Honestly I hated this product, and it really made me sad because I wanted to fine a dupe for the high-end powder foundations and pay less then ten dollars for a powder foundation. Cons for this product is that I couldn't get no product to pick up on my makeup brushes (yes I used more then one brush to try to use this product) or on a makeup sponge. I tried everything. So if there's no product on a makeup brush or sponge that means no product was applying on my face. So I was disappointed because this can't even be used as a setting powder or blotting powder. The only pros for this product is that it comes with a thick sponge and the packaging is nice. So honestly I don't recommend this product to nobody because you'll just wast your money.  

Makeup New Years Resolution

Hello my makeupholics!! Base on the title of the post I want all of y'all to make a "Makeup New Years Resolution." It's actually simple just make a goal that you want to succeed base on makeup. It could be one or two maybe more goals you want to fulfill by the end of 2014. It could be as simple as saving your money to invest an high end foundation you've always want to try, finding the right mascara for yourself, or for you hard hearted makeupholics; trying to use all your makeup that you have. So I encourage all of y'all to at least make at least one goal and to fulfill it.
